The role is part of the Asset Servicing team, responsible for asset setup and maintenance, reconciliation, trade data entry, corporate actions processing, exchange-traded derivative margin instructions, and security valuations. The analyst will primarily work on the SimCorp Dimension accounting platform, focusing on corporate actions processing and ensuring accurate Investment Book of Record (IBOR) for US Middle Office clients. This position provides opportunities to cross-train across all Asset Servicing business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process various corporate actions, including mergers, stock splits, and dividends.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of corporate actions data in systems.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with corporate actions.

  • Review, analyze, and resolve data exceptions to maintain accounting accuracy.

  • Support valuation processes and input price challenges with vendors as requested.

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly valuation reporting and controls.

  • Validate and maintain security master data and reconcile with multiple sources.

  • Ensure accurate and timely booking of all income and position-based transactions.

  • Perform daily reconciliation by analyzing custody and third-party data against accounting system data.

  • Research and resolve complex operational issues, responding professionally to client queries.

  • Collaborate with overseas colleagues to maintain a cohesive global operating model.

Required Strengths and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

  • 1-3 years of relevant Middle Office experience, including corporate actions, IBOR/ABOR, securities valuations, and reconciliations.

  • Experience with platforms such as SimCorp Dimension, SS&C HiPortfolio, Calypso, Blackrock Aladdin, Bloomberg AIMS, or similar.

  • Knowledge of investment strategies, financial markets, and security types, including derivatives.

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to volume fluctuations.

  • Competency in Excel and market data applications like Bloomberg.

  • Willingness to work 11am–7pm EST on weekdays and some global holidays, excluding Christmas and New Year’s Day.

  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills may be necessary due to client base.
