Description:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of a two-year post- secondary certificate in business administration or operations management in a college or technical school environment.
- Completion of formal education in supervisory skills (equivalent to Leadership Essentials – 35 hours at College of the Rockies).
- Candidates require a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a contact or call center preferably in a management or supervisory role;
- Candidates require a minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail banking, including financial service experience with EKCCU or another financial institution including at least 3848 (2 years) in a senior Financial Service position.
Successful candidates must also demonstrate the following:
- working knowledge of supervisory skills such as scheduling and work assignment, recruitment, and performance management
- ability to provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to an assigned team, and to motivate continuous learning and performance development in others
- knowledge of and ability to administer a Collective Agreement within the day-to-day operations of the branch
- working knowledge of all credit union products and services
- sound working knowledge of the current banking system
- success in responding to member enquiries and providing a high level of member service
- PC literacy including Microsoft Word or other word processing software, Excel, or another spreadsheet application
- demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills and the ability to project a courteous, professional image
