Medical Science Liaison

Description:

IQVIA is seeking experienced Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to initiate scientific dialogue in the field of viral liver diseases, hepatology, and Infectious Diseases/HIV. The role involves working with clinical physicians, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide scientific and clinical insight in support of clinical trials and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate healthcare professionals on liver diseases, specifically viral hepatitis, by providing balanced scientific and technical information.

• Serve as a key internal medical resource, responsible for ensuring compliant scientific communication and understanding regulatory requirements.

• Support advocacy development and implementation of peer influence programs.

• Present clinical data to healthcare professionals, researchers, and other stakeholders.

• Work with internal stakeholders to share actionable insights and support clinical research trials.

• Attend medical congresses to develop relationships, enhance advocacy, and present key data.

• Provide information to healthcare professionals about clinical products to ensure access to current scientific knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Advanced clinical/medical degree (PharmD, MD, PhD) from an accredited institution required.

• Prior experience as a Medical Science Liaison is required.

• At least 1 year of experience in hepatology and/or infectious diseases is preferred.

• Clinical trial experience is preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.

• Strong knowledge of market dynamics, scientific communication guidelines, and the regulatory environment.

• Proficient in PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.

• Fluent in English, both written and oral.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
