Description:
Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking a strategic and innovative Digital Strategist to join its Global Partnerships Media Integrations team. This role is focused on creating and executing digital-first partnership programs that integrate across multiple platforms, engage fans, and elevate partner brands through the power of sport and entertainment.
Reporting to the Media Integrations Manager, the Digital Strategist will design impactful digital campaigns and ecosystems across platforms such as Meta, YouTube, Google, X, Snapchat, AR, and VR. The successful candidate will combine creativity, analytical skills, and business development expertise to deliver multi-platform marketing solutions for both current and prospective partners.
Key Responsibilities include:
Reimagining and developing breakthrough digital marketing partnerships for MLSE’s partners.
Leading digital-specific projects, including content marketing, social strategies, and digital customer journeys.
Collaborating with internal teams (digital product, brand marketing, creative, and others) to deliver integrated campaigns.
Developing campaign user journeys and ecosystems that align with client goals.
Defining success metrics, monitoring performance, and optimizing strategies.
Contributing to and at times leading new business development pitches.
Preparing campaign briefs for internal/external vendors.
Presenting digital strategy recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Staying ahead of digital trends, emerging platforms, and technologies to capitalize on opportunities.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, or paid media.
Strong client-facing interpersonal and presentation skills.
Experience with integrated marketing programs and cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to think strategically while executing detailed digital initiatives.
Expertise in storytelling, consumer behavior, and digital media trends.
Proven track record of delivering data-driven, insight-based strategies.
High energy, self-starter mindset with strong prioritization skills.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends for events when required.
