As a Media Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive digital media campaigns aimed at healthcare audiences, including patients and service providers. You will leverage your expertise to develop well-researched media strategies, implement campaigns across multiple digital channels (search, display, video, email, mobile, etc.), and optimize performance to deliver measurable results.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and detail orientation. You will allocate budgets, select media channel mixes, analyze campaign data, and provide actionable insights. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including social, programmatic, SEM, analytics, and client services, as well as build strong partnerships with media vendors. As a mentor, you will support and guide Media Planning Coordinators, contributing to the team’s growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute data-driven media strategies, turning analytics into actionable recommendations.

  • Recommend and allocate media channel mixes, manage budgets, and monitor campaign spending.

  • Evaluate campaign success against KPIs, providing insights and optimization strategies.

  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors to strengthen Klick’s market presence.

  • Collaborate across teams (SEM, social, analytics, ad operations, client services) to ensure seamless campaign execution.

  • Lead budget management and resolve vendor discrepancies.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to professional development within the team.

  • Support new business development initiatives by providing media expertise.

  • Utilize tools such as Datorama, DCM, Genome, Microsoft Office, and G-Suite for planning and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in digital media planning and execution.

  • Experience working with US healthcare or pharmaceutical accounts is considered an asset.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.

  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain detail-oriented under pressure.

  • Proven track record of presenting ideas and strategies clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
