Media Planning Specialist

 

Description:

Klick Health, a fast-growing life sciences marketing ecosystem and one of the country’s top workplaces, is seeking a Media Planning Specialist to join their media team. This role involves creating and executing data-driven digital media campaigns targeting healthcare audiences in the US, across multiple channels including search, display, video, email, and mobile.

You will develop well-researched media plans, optimize campaigns based on performance metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as social, SEM, programmatic, and media operations. The position requires creativity, analytical skills, and excellent communication to drive impactful results in a fast-evolving digital media landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop media strategies by turning data into actionable insights

  • Recommend media channel mix and allocate budgets, monitoring spending carefully

  • Optimize ad campaigns based on KPIs and campaign performance

  • Evaluate media strategy success and provide insightful recommendations

  • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors to strengthen the brand

  • Mentor Media Planning Coordinators and foster professional growth

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Ad Operations, Finance, SEM, Analytics, and Client Services

  • Manage budgets, reporting, and vendor reconciliations

  • Learn and apply best practices and tools in media planning and campaign execution

  • Support new business development efforts

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years media planning experience with a strong focus on digital media

  • Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries is a strong asset

  • Strong analytical skills to derive insights and optimize campaigns

  • Effective time, energy, and resource management

  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain focus

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience with media tools/platforms such as Datorama, DCM, Genome, Microsoft Office/G-Suite

  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise presentations

  • Aptitude for guiding initiatives to meet strategic goals
