Description:

ENTEGRA, a global leader in Ultra-High Resolution (UHR) pipeline in-line inspection technologies, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly / Mechanical Technician to join its Engineering Department. The role is critical in supporting the organization’s reputation for innovation, reliability, and excellence in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, building, maintaining, and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and build mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment in compliance with engineering specifications.

  • Maintain and service equipment to maximize performance, reliability, and longevity.

  • Troubleshoot reported issues, diagnose problems, and carry out repairs efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with department processes, procedures, and quality practices for accurate product delivery.

  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and in accordance with established practices.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at achieving individual and team goals.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and contribute to the overall success of the Engineering Department.

  • Follow all safety protocols, rules, and standards consistently to ensure a safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; technical training in mechanical assembly preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment.

  • Proficiency with various hand tools and power tools such as torque wrenches and drills.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges.

  • Excellent mechanical and mathematical aptitude with strong manual dexterity.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as required by the job.
