Material Handler

Description:

• Minimum High School Diploma required
• Experience in a computerized purchasing/shipping/receiving department
• Physical ability to push, bend and lift
• Basic Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and SAGE 300
• Knowledge of hospital supplies required
• Numeracy
• Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as, part of a team
• Ability to accept direction, guidance, make quick assessments to solve minor problems, and establish priorities in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrates values consistent with SJHCG’s Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment in accordance with Health & Safety policy and legislation.
• Utilize protective equipment provided and identify and reports hazards.
• Engages in ethical conduct and strives to understand and appreciate the diversity of our resident/patient/staff population and community
• Good attendance record
