CSC Generation is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Lifecycle & Loyalty Marketing Manager to join its team supporting Backcountry — one of its leading e-commerce brands. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution, driving customer engagement, retention, and long-term loyalty across multiple brands including Backcountry, Competitive Cyclist, MotoSport, and SteepandCheap.
As part of a high-performing marketing team, you will take ownership of lifecycle and loyalty initiatives that enhance the customer experience and increase lifetime value (LTV). This position requires a balance of creativity, analytical skill, and technical expertise, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
Reporting directly to the Director of Retention, this role will empower you to shape CRM and loyalty strategies that deeply influence customer relationships and business growth.
Design and evolve Backcountry’s cross-channel lifecycle strategy, with a focus on increasing LTV, repeat purchase rates, and customer satisfaction.
Manage end-to-end lifecycle campaign execution, including segmentation, journey design, personalization, QA, deployment, and performance analysis.
Lead the implementation and optimization of the loyalty program, ensuring seamless integration across systems and alignment with customer insights and business objectives.
Serve as the subject matter expert for CRM capabilities, ensuring optimal use of technology and identifying opportunities for platform improvements.
Monitor CRM and email platform health, including deliverability, bounces, and data synchronization issues, and implement incident response plans when needed.
Continuously test, analyze, and iterate campaigns to improve retention metrics and customer engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align lifecycle strategies with product, creative, and analytics teams.
Stay updated on the latest CRM trends, email deliverability practices, and loyalty program innovations.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in CRM, retention, lifecycle, or email marketing within e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) industries.
Proven hands-on experience with email service providers (ESPs) and campaign management tools.
Strong analytical ability to interpret data, run tests, and make data-driven marketing decisions.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Collaborative and proactive mindset with excellent communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
