As part of its expanding operations, Mercor is seeking a Brand Strategist (Marketing and Brand Specialist) on a fully remote, contract basis to collaborate with an AI lab on consumer brand positioning initiatives.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for professionals with strong brand strategy expertise to work at the intersection of consumer marketing and cutting-edge AI technologies. The strategist will be responsible for analyzing brand positioning across diverse consumer categories, designing and implementing impactful strategies, and ensuring alignment with cultural and market trends. This is a short-term, project-based opportunity with a flexible weekly commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and refine brand positioning strategies across multiple consumer categories.
Design and implement effective brand strategies that resonate with target audiences.
Ensure brand alignment with cultural, market, and consumer trends.
Collaborate with AI labs to integrate brand expertise into AI-generated content.
Analyze consumer behavior and generate insights to improve brand resonance.
Work independently and asynchronously to deliver on project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in consumer brand marketing roles.
Proven track record in consumer-facing industries (retail, CPG, lifestyle, fashion, luxury, etc.).
Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with well-known consumer brands.
Prior direct responsibility for brand positioning and strategy.
Engagement Details:
Compensation: $40–$60 per hour (USD), based on experience.
Payments issued weekly via Stripe Connect.
Independent contractor role.
Fully remote and asynchronous work schedule.
