Description:

Airbus Atlantique Canada Inc., a global leader in aerostructures and premium aircraft seating solutions, is seeking a Ramp-up Project Leader to oversee and secure the acceleration of production rates for front and rear fuselage assembly lines. The role is pivotal in ensuring that all actions are coordinated, risks are mitigated, and deliveries meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

This position is part of Airbus’s vision to continuously improve operational efficiency while upholding the company’s core values of integrity, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the roadmap and required actions for production ramp-up and ensure governance for execution and tracking.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Industrialization) to ensure successful production rate increases.

  • Work closely with supplier management teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality) and directly with suppliers to define and follow up required actions.

  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to production ramp-up.

  • Lead dedicated reviews with customers to share progress and readiness of the ramp-up program.

  • Present executive project status updates and escalate support needs to the Program’s steering committee.

  • Analyze, improve, and redefine processes as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.

  • At least 10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience (industrial engineering, supply chain, operations).

  • At least 5 years of proven program/project management experience.

  • Autonomous, flexible, and highly motivated professional.

  • Strong team player with excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Solid prioritization and organizational skills with ability to synthesize complex issues for executive audiences.

  • Strong influencing skills within multidisciplinary teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing, configuration management, procurement, supply chain, sales, finance, and quality programs).
