Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to ensure that the manufacturing process is correctly created prior to product launch
• Lead continuous improvement projects
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting on equipment and use the 5Y and 8D processes to ensure that the issue doesn't repeat itself.
• Create standardized work instructions and train production personnel on new processes.
• Complete APQP-related activities and develop PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and operator instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an manufacturing environment.
• Experience working in a facility that has injection moulding processes
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Process Engineer or as a Manufacturing Engineer
• A degree or diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, and DOE.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives. Preference for someone who has six sigma or Red X Certification
