NVA Canada is seeking an accomplished and compassionate Managing Veterinarian (Managing DVM) to lead the Humber Veterinary Clinic located in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, one of the most scenic and vibrant communities in Eastern Canada. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the veterinary team, fostering a positive, growth-oriented culture.

  • Oversee the clinical operations of the hospital, ensuring high standards of patient care and customer service.

  • Perform medical, surgical, and diagnostic procedures as required, ensuring best-in-class treatment outcomes.

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional client experiences and maintaining professional relationships with pet owners.

  • Collaborate with the practice management team to develop and execute strategies for business growth, staff engagement, and community outreach.

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, clinic policies, and ethical standards.

  • Manage and support the team through continuing education, training, and performance development initiatives.

  • Participate in the financial and operational aspects of the clinic, including budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.

  • Contribute to the overall vision and long-term success of the practice through innovation, compassion, and leadership.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: CA$170000 – CA$200000 annually (equivalent to CA$14166 – CA$16666 monthly).

Qualifications:
