Description:

CAPR provides standardized entry-to-practice assessments for Canadian provincial and territorial physiotherapy regulators. It evaluates the educational credentials of internationally trained individuals and administers the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to ensure readiness for safe and independent physiotherapy practice.

The Manager of Corporate Programs and Projects is a vital role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of corporate programs. The position involves designing, developing, and implementing programs aligned with best practices and organizational objectives. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations to improve program effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

  • Policy administration, governance, and evaluation, including record retention and complex policy implementation

  • Enterprise risk management: monitor emerging risks, assess mitigation effectiveness, and report to leadership and the Board

  • Corporate performance: lead semi-annual evaluations, identify improvements, and report to leadership and committees

  • Privacy: act as a subject matter expert supporting compliance, breach monitoring, and reporting

  • Lead organizational projects and implement operational processes


Experience and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Healthcare Management or related business field

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in policy, program oversight, and risk assessment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex information and create clear standards

  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, workflows, and deadlines

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint)

  • Passion for continuous improvement and strong attention to detail
