Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to automate or modify activities or procedures to increase efficiency and maintain a competitive advantage
  • Meet with management to discuss and respond to their needs for technical, project management and operational support. Develop related plans, budgets, and timeframes as appropriate.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of responses to and adherence of internal policies and external regulations for maximized contribution to economic profit.
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders across HSBC to ensure smooth implementation of new and enhanced processes or systems.
  • Lead and develop an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/recognition practices.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and effectively identify and manage applicable money laundering (ML), terrorist financing (TF), sanctions and reputational risks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years proven and progressive project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or equivalent experience.
  • Proven problem-solving, lateral thinking, communications, project management, planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the business and functional units supported, their products, services and processes and pertinent regulation impacting their delivery.
