Description:

Raise Workforce, partnering with AccertaClaim Servicorp Inc., a B Corp certified social enterprise, is seeking a Manager, Government Relations to support the administration and delivery of healthcare benefits programs across Ontario. Accerta manages dental, vision, drug, and healthcare benefits for government and social service agencies in Canada, providing cost-effective, reliable, and insightful solutions that streamline administration and improve healthcare equality.

This role will blend strategic government engagement, project management, and communications, acting as a key liaison between Accerta and the Ontario government. It requires maintaining and building relationships, supporting contracts, and fostering long-term partnerships. The position offers a hybrid working environment, requiring occasional visits to the Toronto office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen, promote, and manage Accerta’s corporate brand through long-term partnership development.

  • Serve as primary contact between Accerta and the Ontario government, raising awareness of services and fostering new government partnerships.

  • Manage projects and client accounts, including monitoring performance and reporting.

  • Oversee external corporate reporting for key provincial contracts.

  • Maintain existing client accounts while generating new opportunities through proactive engagement.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve inquiries from government partners.

  • Collect and analyze data, statistics, and background materials to support correspondence, briefing notes, and presentation materials.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Accerta to support growth initiatives.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of government experience, ideally in Ontario.

  • Experience in the social services sector or dental benefits landscape is an asset.

  • Strong project management, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience working closely with senior management, focusing on reputation management, corporate narrative, and brand building.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and reporting skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and professional integrity.


Work Environment & Benefits:

  • Full-time, permanent, hybrid working model (remote with occasional Toronto office visits).

  • Competitive salary package: CA$80K - CA$100K per year.
