Description:

Weber Shandwick is seeking a Manager, AI Strategy to join its Weber I/O group, an industry-first unit that integrates analytics, data science, performance media, experiential technology, and AI advisory to drive innovation and client transformation. This is a hybrid position tied to the Toronto office.

The Manager will play a pivotal role in driving AI-powered transformation, educating and inspiring staff across North America, curating training programs, and ensuring Weber Shandwick remains at the forefront of AI adoption. This position requires strong innovation leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to distill complex AI concepts into practical applications for both internal teams and clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Canada’s AI innovation and training roadmap.

  • Design and deliver engaging, multi-dimensional AI education programs.

  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to create impactful content, training modules, and live sessions.

  • Roll out initiatives, drive engagement, and measure impact to scale effective programs.

  • Champion the secure use of Halo, Weber Shandwick’s AI workspace, promoting safe and effective AI adoption.

  • Monitor emerging tech platforms, tools, and workflows to inform strategies and client solutions.

  • Contribute to I/O’s broader strategic initiatives, including new service pilots, market visibility, and innovation sprints.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven expertise in AI-powered innovation within communications, marketing, or technology-driven industries.

  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI platforms and a strong perspective on responsible AI use.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts.

  • Confidence in engaging with senior executives and AI-native entry-level staff alike.

  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.

  • Bonus: Experience in rolling out proprietary technology platforms at scale.
