Maintenance Engineer

Description:

Prevost, part of the Volvo Group, is seeking a 310T Team Lead – Service Technician for its Mississauga Service Centre. The position is responsible for overseeing, assigning, and monitoring work performed by a team of service technicians. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to review and correct technician documentation, and occasionally perform or train others on coach repair and maintenance. This full-time day-shift role offers a dynamic environment, growth opportunities, and a four-day workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign, monitor, and verify the work of service technicians.

• Communicate effectively between the front office and shop technicians.

• Review, edit, and ensure accuracy of technician work orders and stories.

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance as needed.

• Train other technicians in proper repair and maintenance procedures.

• Support additional shop tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Qualified mechanical experience.

• Truck & Coach Technician License 310T or Red Seal certification.

• Class B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement.

• Prior leadership or team lead experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Customer service mindset.

• Proficient computer skills.
