Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to support our Vancouver Branch (Office Location - 19175 22nd Avenue, Surrey BC), reporting to the Facilities Operations Manager.

A Day In The Life
- Coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate dispatch of large company equipment and rental equipment
- Determine if company needs can be meet with our own equipment or will need to be provided by a rental source
- Finalize rental details such as when, where and what equipment is needed
- Verify availability of equipment with shops and/or check inventory status
- Filing of purchase orders and related paperwork
- Work closely with other departments to ensure satisfaction and accuracy of equipment requests
- Provide recommendations for equipment purchase when cost savings can be identified
- Update Flynn Hardcat system
- Booking engineers for NDT’s inspections on all equipment throughout the year and updating system
- Ordering parts for Flynn mechanics to repair equipment
What We Are Seeking
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in large equipment rental or dispatching is an asset
- 3 years of experience in a related capacity
- Experience with a computerized purchasing system
- Experience with a computerized schedule system such as MS Project
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service experience is considered an asset
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Mechanically inclined is considered an asset
- Proven ability to solve problems
