Machine Technician

Description:

• Interpret and produce work from complex product drawings, manuals, specifications, and work instructions to manufacture high-quality reciprocating gas engines.

• Set up and operate machine tools, perform machining, assembly, and finishing of engine components.

• Create programs for CNC machines, maintain operational sequences, tooling changes, and cycle speeds.

• Perform non-destructive testing, grinding, and other machining operations.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and hand tools.

• Calibrate gauges and measuring equipment.

• Provide coaching and expertise to team members, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

• Identify and implement efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.

• Follow Environmental Health & Safety standards.

• Required to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs and meet physical and cognitive demands.
