Machine Learning Engineer

Roshan Consulting Services is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer (AI/ML Developer) to support one of its innovative US-based clients. This is a part-time remote contract opportunity, ideal for professionals looking to work at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that solve complex, real-world problems. A major focus of the work will be on building scalable AI solutions, particularly in the areas of natural language processing, dynamic pricing, and big data analytics. The successful candidate will play a key role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into core business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement machine learning models using real-time data and large-scale datasets

• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines to support ML workflows

• Apply feature engineering methodologies to improve model accuracy and relevance

• Write complex SQL queries across Amazon Redshift and MySQL environments

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to align AI development with business goals

• Maintain and enhance deployed models to ensure continual performance improvements

• Develop and monitor automated workflows for data pipelines and model deployment

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Remote work

• Part-time: Minimum 20 hours per week

• Working hours: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM CST (with a break from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM CST)

• Zoom collaboration is required during working hours

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming: Python, SQL (Java/Scala a plus)

• ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

• Data Engineering: Kafka, Spark, AWS Glue, EventBridge

• Cloud: AWS (S3, Redshift, API Gateway)

• Tools: Git/GitHub, CI/CD automation

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset

• Effective communicator, capable of explaining complex ideas clearly

• Self-driven and team-oriented
