Locum Otolaryngologist

Description:

Oak Valley Health is seeking a locum Otolaryngologist to join the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology at Markham Stouffville Hospital. This temporary full-time opportunity begins around November 2025, with a minimum commitment of 6 months, extendable up to 12 months. The successful candidate will join a high-functioning and well-supported team offering comprehensive services in a community-focused setting.

Position Details Include:

• Clinic Access: Fully equipped outpatient office with experienced Medical Office Assistant (MOA) support

• Operating Room Time: 4 days per month

• Ambulatory Clinics: 2 hours of Outpatient Surgical (OPS) procedural clinic per month

• Call Coverage:

  • Weekday day call: 1 in 5

  • Overnight/weekend call: 1 in 18

Requirements:

• Independent license from the CPSO

• Certification in Otolaryngology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent
