Raymond James Independent Financial Services – Filo Financial Solutions is seeking a Licensed Financial Advisor Assistant to join their Calgary office. This role is designed for a professional with strong administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills to assist Financial Advisors in growing their wealth management business and providing exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have a meticulous attention to detail, a positive attitude, and strong organizational abilities to handle a range of administrative and client service tasks in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing and following up on security transactions, account openings, transfers, and trades (once licensed).
Managing daily debits, credits, and inbound/outbound transactions.
Handling client calls, inquiries, and fostering strong client relationships.
Preparing portfolio reviews, updating accounts, and ensuring compliance with KYCs and risk profiles.
Coordinating event planning, correspondence, and report preparation.
Managing office documentation, banking processes, and data entry for financial plans.
Assisting with basic marketing, social media updates, and website content changes.
Coordinating office supplies and covering office phone lines.
Supporting Financial Advisors in business development and client acquisition.
Minimum 2 years of investment industry experience or equivalent post-secondary education.
Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conducts and Practices Handbook (CPH), and WME.
Insurance license is an asset (ability to assist with insurance quotations and client documentation).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with Dataphile or equivalent transaction software.
Superior customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage confidential information and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to participate in community building initiatives.
