Legal Assistant

 

Description:

The Legal Assistant is responsible for providing direct legal assistance and support to the Workers' Safety and Compensation Board’s Director, Legal Services and to other members of the organization.

 


Essential Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certification in Office Administration, Business Administration, Paralegal or a related field
  • Experience providing senior/executive level administrative support (prepare, edit and revise documents and correspondence, maintain detailed electronic and paper records, take minutes, etc.)
  • Experience researching and preparing complex executive reports, charts and presentations with the ability to create and manipulate data
  • Experience working with legislation, and administrative policies and procedures
  • Experience working in a legal environment.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
