Lead Product Manager

Description:

OpenText is seeking a Lead Product Manager (Contract) to drive the product strategy, design, and delivery of Artificial Intelligence features and tools supporting OpenText Content Services, including Core Content, Documentum, and Extended ECM. The role focuses on ensuring on-time product delivery, coordinating with Sales, Professional Services, Learning Services, Support, and key partners, while managing the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key internal and external customers to gather feedback and communicate product roadmap details.

• Synthesize and prioritize customer needs and company strategy to define product roadmap.

• Maintain day-to-day contact with the software development team to refine Product Specifications and guide agile/iterative development.

• Encourage innovation within market segment boundaries and goals.

• Analyze competitors and support development of competitive responses for sales and marketing.

• Manage the full product lifecycle from planning to delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Understanding of both on-premise and cloud-hosted enterprise software.

• Experience in software product management, working on complex products and projects.

• Experience with OpenText products such as Documentum, Content Management (Extended ECM), Core Content, InfoArchive, Archive Center, or Knowledge Discovery (IDOL).

• Knowledge of agile/iterative development processes.

• Strong goal orientation and proactive problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels.

• Strong customer orientation and comfort in sales situations.

• Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly evolving technology environment.
