Description:
Labatt Breweries of Canada, a leading national brewer with iconic brands like Budweiser, Bud Light, Corona, Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, and more, is hiring a Key Account Manager - Convenience based in Toronto. This role is pivotal for strategic account management with major convenience customers, focusing on building win-win partnerships and driving business growth through tailored account programs.
Manage strategic accounts of Labatt’s largest convenience retail customers.
Build, maintain, and own external relationships with convenience key accounts.
Develop annual customer business plans using strategic and tactical approaches.
Design, execute, and evaluate customized key account programs.
Support the Customer Marketing Team in marketing and sales initiatives.
Manage customer budgets and ensure proper allocation and use.
Direct the field sales team on street-level executions within assigned customer sets.
Create and maintain internal and external communication plans.
Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews for assigned customers.
Develop new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
University Degree in Business or related field (mandatory).
Minimum 6 years sales back-office experience.
Experience in the convenience channel is required.
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Excellent presentation skills for pitching key account initiatives.
Professional interaction with senior customer executives (CEO, President, VP).
Strong budget management experience.
Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to understand customer needs and develop creative solutions aligned with Labatt’s priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of liquor regulations and distribution networks.
