Description:
KEJJA, a leading hospitality management company operating over 2,100 rooms across Canada and Florida, is seeking a Junior Payroll/HR Coordinator to support payroll operations and HR activities. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, employee support, and administrative efficiency, contributing to the well-being of employees.
Payroll Responsibilities:
✔ Support payroll managers in processing payroll operations
✔ Serve as a point of contact for payroll and benefits-related inquiries
✔ Generate payroll reports and respond to employee requests
✔ Ensure payroll compliance with regulations and internal policies
✔ Handle offboarding processes, including final payroll and administrative procedures
✔ Manage sick leave and vacation banks
✔ Perform other related payroll duties
Human Resources Responsibilities:
✔ Assist with recruitment, including job postings and candidate screening
✔ Help draft and update internal policies, documents, and communications
✔ Maintain and update employee records
✔ Support onboarding and offboarding processes
✔ Perform other HR-related tasks as needed
📌 Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll and HR management
📌 Diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field (preferred)
📌 Proficiency in Microsoft Office
📌 Experience in a unionized environment (an asset)
📌 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
📌 Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
📌 Bilingual in French and English (required)
