Description:
As a Junior IT Business Analyst, you will support enterprise technology initiatives by working closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project teams, and technical resources to understand business needs, document requirements, improve business processes, and contribute to successful project delivery.
You will participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and help ensure technology solutions align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with business analysis activities across multiple enterprise IT projects.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, JAD sessions, and requirements-gathering meetings.
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), use cases, process maps, workflows, business rules, and functional specifications.
- Support business process analysis, business process mapping, and business process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in business modeling, conceptual and logical data modeling, process flow modeling, and business event modeling.
- Assist with feasibility studies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and maintain traceability matrices and other business analysis deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, and communicate updates to project leadership.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support projects delivered using Agile, structured, and object-oriented methodologies.
- Prepare presentations, briefing materials, documentation, and project artifacts.
- Ensure solutions align with organizational standards, enterprise architecture, SDLC, and project governance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
- Experience working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and validating business requirements.
- Experience with structured, object-oriented, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience developing performance measures and supporting business analysis evaluations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
