Core Responsibilities

• Supervises work teams and leads project teams in the planning, development, implementation, integration and operational support and maintenance of a departmental/agency IT infrastructure and services.

• Represents the team in meetings with managers, clients, technical staff, and suppliers in order to obtain agreement on requirements for services or the resolution of technical issues;

• Supervises and provides leadership to staffed engaged in various projects , and ensures their ongoing professional development

Experience

• Experience leading multidisciplinary IM/IT project teams, or functional teams to accomplish goals.

• Experience in coordinating tasks or deliverables in an IM/IT environment.

• Experience in providing advice and recommendations, both in writing and orally, to management on IM/IT projects or systems.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of project management principles.

• Knowledge of trends and best practices related to IT infrastructure and IT operations.
