It Systems & Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems & Security Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and practical working experience supporting or maintaining ISO 27001 standards. This role focuses on managing our cloud environment, strengthening security controls, and supporting ongoing compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure (Azure)

• Administer and maintain Azure services (Azure AD/Entra ID, VMs, Storage, Networking, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault).
• Support identity and access management (IAM), Conditional Access, MFA, SSO.
• Manage device configuration and policies through Microsoft Intune.
• Perform system monitoring, patching, and health checks across the Azure environment.
• Assist with troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cost monitoring.

Security & ISO 27001 Compliance Support

• Support the implementation and upkeep of ISO 27001 policies, procedures, and controls.
• Assist with risk assessments, internal audits, corrective actions, and evidence collection.
• Maintain documentation related to ISMS processes and controls.
• Support vulnerability management, incident response activities, and security awareness tasks.
• Participate in vendor risk assessments and compliance checks.

Technical Support & Operations

• Provide escalation support for IT issues related to Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and security tools.
• Assist in backup/restore operations and disaster recovery testing.
• Collaborate with team members and external partners/vendors where needed.
• Support the SOC 2 compliance procedure
• Support IT projects involving system upgrades, integrations, and security improvements.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on Azure administration.
• Working knowledge of ISO 27001 controls, audits, and documentation requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune/Endpoint management.
• Understanding of security operations, incident response, and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows systems, networking basics (DNS, VPN, firewalls), and endpoint security.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
