IT Service Desk Technician (L1) – Warehouse

Job Description:

We are seeking an IT Service Desk Technician (L1) to provide frontline onsite IT support for warehouse and office operations. This role is responsible for delivering day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting warehouse technology devices, and ensuring smooth IT operations in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with end users to resolve technical issues while maintaining service levels and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, office software, and standard business applications.

• Provide support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

• Support warehouse technology including barcode scanners, PDA devices, handheld terminals, and label printers.

• Perform printer maintenance, toner replacement, troubleshooting paper jams, and resolving label printing issues.

• Configure and troubleshoot basic network settings, including IP configuration, Wi-Fi connectivity, and printer networking.

• Prepare, deploy, and maintain IT equipment for new users and warehouse operations.

• Respond to IT service requests and incidents through the ticketing system while meeting established SLA requirements.

• Maintain IT asset inventory records and technical documentation.

• Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 support teams as required.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience providing IT support in a desktop, service desk, or technical support environment.

• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, printers, and peripheral devices.

• Experience troubleshooting basic networking issues and connectivity problems.

• Experience using ticketing systems and providing onsite end-user support.

• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required, as the successful candidate will regularly communicate with English-speaking local users and Mandarin-speaking internal stakeholders and support teams.

• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience supporting warehouse, logistics, retail, or manufacturing environments is an asset.

• Experience supporting Zebra or Honeywell handheld devices is preferred.

• Experience with label printing systems is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Intune or other Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms is an asset.
