It Program Manager

Description:

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is an IT consulting firm partnering with major banks, financial institutions, investment firms, and government sectors to deliver cutting-edge consulting services and recruit IT talent across all levels.

They are seeking a competent IT Program Manager to manage and ensure successful delivery of complex programs for a major bank client.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex projects/programs involving multiple teams and external vendors.

• Demonstrate leadership to build and maintain high-performing project teams.

• Influence business project decisions impacting financials and operations.

• Independently lead executive Steering Committee meetings with senior leaders (Group Heads, EVPs, SVPs).

• Align strategic focus with business priorities.

• Promote a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage bank-wide systems and knowledge.

• Recommend technical strategies and evaluate new technologies within the technical domain.

• Impact technical direction and resource allocation for supported products or platforms.

• Lead risk and issue resolution with broad project team impact.

• Define and maintain project roadmap and budget.

Candidate Requirements / Must-Have Skills:

• 10+ years project management in large corporations, with at least 5 years in program management.

• Experience with Regulatory projects in Financial Institutions or Insurance sectors.

• Skilled in writing Closure Packages.

• 5+ years experience communicating with Executive leadership (SVP, EVP+).

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience in Financial Institutions (Insurance or Top 5 Banks).

• Previous experience with ScotiaBank is an asset.

• PMP certification preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong.
