It Enterprise Architect

Description:

The IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist will be responsible for leading the development of solution options using a composable and modular architecture approach. This includes decomposing and composing requirements, conducting cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, and creating conceptual models of potential solutions aligned with Government of Ontario IT standards and directives. The role will involve creating architectures for various solutions across the Land and Resources Sector, ensuring alignment with the LRC Technology Roadmap Practices, and managing a wide range of technical areas including applications, business processes, technology, and security.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting options analysis and evaluating solution alternatives.

• Providing expertise in designing and implementing APIs and data streaming integrations.

• Delivering enterprise architecture processes and best practices.

• Engaging with business stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals.

• Developing detailed documentation and architecture deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in IT architecture and enterprise solution design.

• Expertise in composable architecture, cloud computing, microservices, and emerging technology trends.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with middleware, application platforms, and systems analysis.

• Ability to manage complex cross-platform application designs.
