Note: Internally this role is referred to as Specialist II TIS Business Engagement What You Will Do Strategic & Tactical Planning:
- Facilitate the development of LP Technology Roadmaps, Long-Range Planning activities, and Business Cases.
- Exhibit technology innovation leadership and support the business in identifying problems and opportunities where disruptive technology can be beneficial and develop recommendations that provide the basis for making critical business decisions.
- Plan and deliver LP Digital Enablement programs, composed of underlying projects and initiatives.
Relationship Building
- Foster strategic partnerships within LP and TIS, becoming a trusted advisor, influencing business teams to leverage technologies.
- Support TIS, business teams, and senior leaders in decision-making related to execution, risk management, and operationalization of program/projects.
- Provide application sustainment and support to Business Partners with their technology strategies and requests.
- Required interaction with all groups across TIS, and with client groups, project sponsors, Contractor Management Office & Finance.
Practice Leadership & Enablement
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert in business analysis, process mapping, and facilitation practices.
- Provide informal mentoring and knowledge sharing to promote consistent, high‑quality analysis and engagement outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of business analysis standards, templates, and tools.
- Maintain strong knowledge of LP business processes and technology interfaces, with deeper expertise in priority or complex areas.
Who You Are Required:
- A University or College degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Information Technology or a related area.
- Well-developed knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools, applied in complex environments.
- Ability to lead through change, bringing innovation, initiative, and practical execution to evolving priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with experience working across cross‑functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
- Highly developed organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex programs effectively.
