Description:
As a member of our IT Services team, you will provide superior support to our customers (internal and external) to ensure they have effective use of all manner of audio-visual equipment located in global offices.
Job location: Ottawa, Canada (It's a hybrid role and you'll be expected to work in office 2-3 days a week)
What you'll do:
- Interface with the HQ project's AV implementors/installers during all phases of an AV fit up as required
- Validate that all meeting rooms and collaboration spaces have been set up according to design specifications
- Support all AV requirements at HQ (install, maintenance and troubleshooting)
- Assist with the technical production of Town Halls
- Be the technical interface with any AV/production vendors with regards to Town Halls and any of our company conference/trade shows
- Working with the marketing, communications and product teams, run the AV portion of high-level product demonstrations in front of prospective and existing clients
- Install and configure end user software and hardware as it relates to the new IT/ AV infrastructure
- Support and pro-actively maintain all AV equipment and software at HQ
- Deep dive troubleshooting on any end user meeting room functionality bringing in any cross functional team members.
- Provide responsive and friendly telephone, face-to-face and online support to Kinaxis end-users who are located globally.
- Work from a queue of tickets logged against AV systems/services supported by Kinaxis Corporate IT, ensuring that we stay within our SLA
- Ensure proper escalation occurs for unresolved issues.
- Provide training and best practices to the IT Services team and to end users
- Create customized training documentation when required
- Assist the team in testing and documenting process and procedures related to IT AV systems and applications
- Asset Management to help the team maintain accurate information of IT AV assets
- Occasionally interact with third party providers from a hardware warrantee perspective
- Some domestic or international travel is required to support our conference and trade shows.

Things you should have:
- 4+ years of experience with the following as it relates to AV:
- Crestron room booking application and configuration
- User interfaces
- Experience with Video Walls (SW and HW)
- Digital display software (Appspace etc.)
- Digital display hardware (Brightsign etc.)
- wireless presentation (Barco/click share)
- Sound mixing systems (professional quality stage)
- Some experience with stage lighting systems
- Video and collaboration systems. (MT Teams, Teams Live or Zoom)
- Knowledge of Mac OS and hardware as well as MS Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 2012R2/16), server hardware and software, MS Office products such as O365, collaboration tools such WebEx and Teams
- Some knowledge and experience in networking protocols
- Ability to effectively work as a team while delivering and supporting IT AV solutions
- Ability to work independently and remotely within a team environment and effectively follow direction and procedures.
