It Asset Manager

Our client is seeking a hands on IT Asset Manager to join their growing Montreal team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in fast paced environments, enjoys building structure from the ground up, and can effectively manage competing priorities while working under pressure.

This role requires an individual who is highly organized, process driven, and comfortable working onsite with cross functional teams to establish and improve IT asset management practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement

• Build, document, and improve IT asset management processes and procedures

• Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware, software, and technology assets

• Partner with IT, Operations, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure asset compliance and governance

• Track asset utilization, ownership, licensing, warranties, and refresh cycles

• Support audits, reporting, and inventory reconciliation activities

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and asset visibility

• Work effectively in a growing and evolving environment where priorities may shift quickly

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Operations, Infrastructure, or a related field

• Fluent in both English and French

• Strong experience managing hardware, software, and technology asset inventories

• Experience building processes, procedures, and operational frameworks from scratch

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

• Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Hands on approach with the ability to execute as well as improve processes

Preferred Experience

• Experience within security, logistics, transportation, financial services, or other large operational environments

• Familiarity with ITSM, CMDB, asset management, or inventory management platforms

• Understanding of software licensing, compliance, and governance best practices
