As a Senior Consultant, IT and Specialized Certification, you will embark on a dynamic and challenging career where each day presents opportunities for growth and skill enhancement. You will be responsible for leading onsite work for IT audits, evaluating the effectiveness of controls in IT systems, and providing valuable insights to clients. Your work will cover a variety of sectors, including audits of IT general controls and third-party certifications (such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports).
You will collaborate with a team to offer value to stakeholders while developing expertise in risk management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Additionally, you will provide advisory services on IT-related risks, co-facilitate risk workshops, and support risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Auditing: Lead onsite audits of IT controls, assessing their effectiveness based on established audit frameworks (e.g., COSO, ITIL, COBIT).
Third-party Certification: Work on certifications such as SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports, ensuring compliance and integrity.
Risk Advisory: Conduct risk interviews, co-facilitate workshops on IT and cybersecurity risks, and develop policies and frameworks for risk management.
Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices in IT auditing.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 2-5 years in internal controls, IT auditing, or related areas, with a particular focus on IT security.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with control frameworks (e.g., COSO, ITIL, COBIT) and IT systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, and systems like UNIX, Windows, AS/400, zOS, Oracle SQL Server, etc.
Certifications: Completion or pursuit of professional certifications (CPA, CISA, CIA, CISSP) is an asset.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business administration, commerce, or accounting is preferred.
Regulatory Audit Experience: Experience in internal controls auditing under regulatory requirements (PCAOB, CCRC) is a plus.
Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Language Requirements: Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required due to interactions with national and global clients.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: Competitive base salary ranging from $48,000 to $107,000 annually, with potential bonuses.
