Isolation Planner

 

Description:

As an Isolation Planner based at the Northern Corporate Office in Maroochydore, you will play a key role in keeping water and wastewater services running smoothly by delivering clear, accurate isolation plans that support planned network works. You will balance operational needs with customer outcomes, ensuring disruptions are minimised and safe drinking water standards are upheld.

You will develop step-by-step isolation plans, manage customer outage notifications, maintain accurate network data, and work closely with operational and planning teams to reduce risk and deliver best-for-business outcomes. Safety, quality, and customer experience sit at the heart of everything you do.

About you:

  • Relevant industry qualification (e.g. Hydraulic Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong understanding of water, sewerage, and recycled water construction, operations, and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in water utility network planning and analysis.
  • Ability to analyse network scenarios using operational systems to assess risk.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
  • Proficiency with operational systems such as SCADA, GIS, and Electronic Permit to Work platforms.
  • Sound understanding of water utility operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Current C Class Driver Licence.
