As an Investor Services Associate, you will serve as a primary contact for fund investors and managers, managing investor transactions, ensuring compliance with AML/KYC regulations, and supporting fund operations. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Act as the main point of contact for fund investors and managers through both email and telephone communication.
Process investor subscription and redemption activities in line with fund offering documents and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
Communicate pending transactions and updates to fund management and ensure all relevant parties are informed.
Prepare and validate investor statements against fund accounting data to ensure accuracy.
Distribute investor statements, letters, and various other documents according to client and fund management instructions.
Maintain up-to-date and compliant investor distribution information.
Prepare and process wire transfer instructions via multiple online banking platforms, ensuring cash movements are timely and accurate.
Confirm processed cash activities and communicate updates to fund accounting and/or fund management.
Comply with departmental policies and procedures to maintain process integrity and efficiency.
Participate actively in process improvements and system enhancement initiatives.
Perform additional related tasks as assigned by department leadership.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in Hedge/Private Equity Fund administration or Investor/Shareholder services is highly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with AML and KYC procedures is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong customer service orientation.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Flexibility to work overtime when required to meet client and departmental deliverables.
Availability to provide coverage on Canadian holidays, as needed, due to the firm’s global client base.
