Investment Operations Associate

Aligned Capital Partners Inc. (ACPI) is seeking a full-time Investment Operations Associate to join their Client Experience team based in Burlington, Ontario in a hybrid work environment. ACPI is a fast-growing investment dealer with a strong emphasis on teamwork, service excellence, and a client-first approach. This is a front-line, client-facing role supporting Investment Advisor clients and requires high proficiency in client service within the financial services industry.

The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possess the ability to manage client inquiries effectively and calmly. The role involves regular interaction with advisors, delivering operational support, and contributing to training and cross-departmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to Investment Advisor clients, addressing inquiries related to systems, compliance, trading, estates, and more.

• Deliver training to advisors and their branch/administrative teams.

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex and multifaceted issues.

• Work on project-specific initiatives including updates to internal procedures.

• Assist management with ad-hoc tasks and time-sensitive priorities.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1–3 years of client service experience in financial services, investment, or banking industries.

• Education: Industry-related academic qualifications such as CSC (Canadian Securities Course), CPH (Conduct and Practices Handbook), or a clear commitment to continued financial education.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, a friendly and professional attitude, and the ability to manage high workloads.

• Work Style: Must be flexible to work independently in a hybrid home/office setting.
