Interventional Cardiologist

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), one of the world’s largest and most respected paediatric healthcare centres, is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join the Labatt Family Heart Centre within the Division of Cardiology. SickKids is dedicated exclusively to children and families, integrating healthcare, leading-edge research, and education, and providing a supportive environment for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and oversee periprocedural care.

• Participate in ambulatory cardiology practice and provide minimal inpatient acute care coverage.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of three interventionalists, rotating cardiology trainees, and a senior interventional fellow.

• Conduct academic work, including research, quality improvement, and medical education.

• Engage in non-clinical activities for professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• MD, MBBS, or equivalent.

• Certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or comparable qualifications.

• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

• Eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.

• Proficiency in English.
