Internal Sales Representative

Description:

Randstad Canada, on behalf of a leading Quebec-based distributor in the construction materials sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative for its Québec City location. In this role, you will be the direct contact for clients and sales representatives, handling product inquiries, quotations, orders, and post-sales service. You’ll play a key part in supporting sales operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery and product expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process orders received via phone, email, or in person at the sales counter

• Prepare quotations and bids for clients and representatives

• Provide technical advice and product guidance to clients

• Follow up on orders, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction

• Distribute technical data sheets and maintain communication post-sale

• Assist with showroom and inventory upkeep, along with other general support tasks

Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in sales, estimating, or construction-related fields such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry

• Solid understanding of construction materials or similar industry background

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-moving environment

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Team player with integrity and a proactive approach to client service
