Intermediate Graphic Designer

Description:

This full-time Intermediate Graphic Designer position is very multi-faceted: the role requires the ability to take clients through the entire project independently. From hosting in-person wedding invitation consultations, to quoting, to design proofs, to print set-up and handling all correspondence and details in between. You will be part salesperson/part designer/part project manager, handling multiple clients at any given time. We require tight turnaround times, and a quick pace of work to ensure that all clients are being successfully managed according to their individual event dates & deadlines. Given the size of our small team, we are looking for someone who is excited by the idea of working closely with our business owner and Senior Graphic Designer, in turn becoming an integral part of Paper & Poste. We ideally want someone who is looking to make a transition to a long-term role in a dynamic & bustling small business, whose presence will directly impact our growth and success. The role is a full-time salary position in our studio, with potential for some WFH hours based on workload and weekly requirements.

Requirements:

• An energetic, creative, solutions-oriented individual

• 3+ years experience as a professional Graphic Designer

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop

• Strong Excel and Google Suite Skills

• Experience in Branding Design

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively

• Extremely strong layout & typography skills

• Strong writing & communication skills (client relations)

• Experience working with both print & digital assets

• Immaculate attention to detail

• Confidence & experience with in-person client consultations

• Exceptional time management and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects/clients concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment

• Work alongside & provide direct support to business owner

• Must be available Monday-Friday, evenings & some weekends as appointment schedule changes weekly

• Portfolio of Design work
