Intermediate Data Scientist

Description:

IQVIA’s Digital Enablement Center of Excellence delivers innovative, customer-focused healthcare solutions through advanced data analytics and technology. The Intermediate Data Scientist role is part of the Audience Identity Management (AIM) team, responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights to improve healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Exploration and Analysis:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify data-driven opportunities. Use Python, R, Power BI, and Excel for statistical analysis, data cleansing, and feature engineering. Perform ad hoc analyses to detect patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets. Develop data transformation processes to improve data quality.

• Data Visualization and Reporting:
  Create compelling visualizations with Tableau or similar tools to communicate complex insights to stakeholders. Design interactive dashboards and reports for decision-makers. Translate technical results into clear narratives understandable by non-technical audiences. Ensure visualizations follow best practices for usability.

• Finding Stories in Data:
  Dive deep into datasets to discover meaningful stories and insights. Convert raw numbers into impactful narratives that guide business decisions. Use visualization techniques to make data insights accessible and actionable.

• Client Engagement and Delivery:
  Work closely with clients to understand their unique data requirements. Adapt individual client reports for broader applicability. Participate in project scoping, requirement gathering, and planning. Deliver high-quality data products, reports, and recommendations. Build strong client relationships by actively listening and responding to feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in data science, analytics, or similar.

• Proficient in Python, R, Excel.

• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data manipulation techniques.

• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to diverse audiences.

• Experience in client-facing roles and passion for leveraging data to impact business outcomes.
