Insurance Sales Representative

Cal LeGrow Insurance is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Insurance Representative to join their team. This position involves quoting and selling automobile and property insurance to clients, adhering strictly to sales processes and underwriting guidelines. The role requires providing expert advice to clients on the best coverage options to meet their needs, as well as identifying opportunities for additional products and services.

Responsibilities include front-line underwriting, processing insurance applications through broker portals, invoicing new policies, and ensuring all policy documents are processed correctly. The representative will also be responsible for following up on outstanding items within an allowable timeframe and performing outbound calls to existing clients to maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in the insurance industry

• Valid property and casualty insurance representative license or ability to meet licensing requirements promptly

• Professional designations such as CAIB or CIP are assets, or an interest in professional development

• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude
