Our Community Branch Network Division is seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisor, Auto. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Our Aldergrove office first opened its doors in 1980 and has been operating there ever since. We are proud to be a long-term partner in the community, providing insurance solutions to both businesses and individuals in the area for over 30 years.
Responsibilities
- Providing ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships
- Assisting in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter, answering telephones and completing other tasks as assigned
- Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production
- Committing to remaining connected to HUB International in the bigger picture and understand the mission, values and goals of HUB
- Interpreting and ensuring that insurer (ICBC, Family, etc.) and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed
- Handling any customer complaints appropriately
- Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
- Continuing professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications
- Level 1 General Insurance License mandatory
- 6 months+ Auto Insurance experience
- Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Sales initiative and drive
- Must have use of own personal vehicle to travel to dealership locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Exceptional customer service skills
