Are you an organized and forward-thinking IT professional looking to make a real impact in one of Canada’s most unique and remote regions? Yukon Energy is seeking an Infrastructure Coordinator to help ensure our enterprise IT and operational technology environments remain secure, reliable, and built for the future.

What will you do: As a key member of the Information Technology team, you will:


  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and lifecycle management of enterprise IT and OT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and hybrid/cloud platforms.
  • Track asset health, capacity, and refresh requirements to support capital planning and long-term infrastructure roadmaps.
  • Coordinate infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities to minimize operational disruption.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and external vendors to ensure infrastructure supports grid reliability and corporate initiatives.
  • Identify and track infrastructure-related risks, including lifecycle gaps, capacity constraints, and cybersecurity exposure.
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning to strengthen operational resilience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, inventories, and lifecycle records to support governance and audit requirements.
  • Participate in infrastructure-related incident coordination and continuous improvement efforts.

What you need to succeed:


  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or other related field.
  • Experience working in an electrical utility an asset
  • Experience working/supporting SCADA and OT environments an asset
  • Enterprise infrastructure (servers, networking, virtualization, cloud).
  • Windows Server and foundational Linux knowledge.
  • Networking fundamentals (IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPN).
  • Backup and disaster recovery principles.
  • Cybersecurity best practices.
  • IT Service Management and change governance.
  • Strong coordination, documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and support operational resilience.
