About the Program:
- Purpose: Our program aims to bridge the gap between education and professional life. As a intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts, and contribute to real-world projects.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Underrepresented Group: We encourage candidates who have identified themselves as part of an underrepresented or marginalized group to apply.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Availability: You must be available Monday through Friday during business hours
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the quarterly security controls attestation process.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Ensure alignment of IT processes with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide assistance and support during internal and third-party audits or IT related assessments.
- Prepare GRC reports.
- Maintain documentation related to governance, risk, and compliance activities.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or completed a post-secondary program in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of information security principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
