Deloitte, one of Canada’s leading professional services firms, is seeking a Manager – Indirect Tax to join its dynamic Canadian Indirect Tax Compliance group. As part of the Deloitte team, you will be involved in planning and managing indirect tax compliance and outsourcing engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries. You’ll serve as a trusted business advisor, identifying valuable tax opportunities, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency through technology-driven solutions.

Plan and oversee Canadian indirect tax compliance engagements for clients across diverse industries.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax compliance issues.
Review and ensure the technical accuracy of indirect tax returns on client engagements.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline tax operations.
Coordinate with Deloitte’s in-house consulting teams and client tax departments to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in drafting proposals and presenting them to new and existing clients.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members to support their professional development.
Manage engagement profitability, project delivery timelines, and client satisfaction.
Anticipate long-term implications of tax decisions and take a broad approach to problem-solving.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Canadian indirect taxation.
Strong project management and leadership skills with a track record of successful team supervision.
Proficient in client communication, issue diagnosis, and solution implementation.
Deep understanding of indirect tax compliance processes and regulatory requirements.
Ability to identify and mitigate business risks associated with tax projects.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required for Quebec-based roles.
Monthly Salary: CAD 7,000 – CAD 11,666 (annual CAD 84,000 – CAD 140,000).
