In-person Independent Eap Provider

Description:

Dialogue, Canada's leading virtual care provider, is seeking Independent Licensed EAP Providers to join their network. This role is designed for licensed professionals with an in-person practice in Canada who are interested in receiving client case referrals as a complement to their existing practice. Referrals are made based on demand in your area, but no guaranteed number is provided.

As a provider within the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) network, you'll provide short-term, solution-focused consultations addressing a variety of mental health-related topics. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients identify, understand, and overcome personal challenges while achieving their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive client case referrals based on the demand in your area.

• Offer short-term counselling using a goal-focused approach to assist clients with various mental health challenges.

• Create a judgment-free environment that empowers clients to discuss their challenges openly.

• Help clients identify external resources that complement the services provided by Dialogue (if necessary).

Candidate Requirements:

• A university degree in a counselling-related field (e.g., psychology, social work, psychoeducation, career counselling, sexology, criminology).

• Hold a valid professional license and professional insurance.

• Access to a physical office in Canada for providing in-person sessions.

• Experience or an interest in providing short-term counselling.

• Experience in providing intervention or coaching services to couples, families, or individuals aged 14 and older (an asset).

• A good knowledge of community resources (an asset).
